Mildura Zone Conference

Its always a joy to meet with the Mildura zone for zone Conference.  We actually
Met half way and held the zone conference in the beautiful city of Berri.  Elder and
Sister Smith are new to this assignment and are learning all about  the diverse areas
In the Mildura Zone.  We are so grateful they are here.  The Mildura sisters, Sister
Samita, Sister Cheurfang and Sister Manukau serve in the city of Mildura. They bike
All over the place and are true warriors!  Elder Touma and Elder Maliu serve in Berri
And are finding great and new pockets of people to share the Gospel with. Zone Leaders,
Elder Radovan and Elder AuWong serve in Mildura North and Mildura South with their
Companions Elder Stubbs and Elder Fala. They cover Robinvale and occasionally,
Broken Hill. There is so much to do in Mildura area and these are busy missionaries.
Celebrating Birthdays in Berri are Elder Stubbs and Elder Radovan who happen to have
The same birthday, and Elder AuWong with his companion Elder  Fala.  We love
These missionaries and wish them a wonderful birthday feeling very loved-because
They are!
A day being spiritually fed, as well as physically:). Since everyone was traveling we
Visited the new Subway Shop in the brand new awesome shopping center in Berri
And ordered 15 Subway Sandwiches.  Works for us!!  Sister Smith brought homemade
Cookies to top it off.
Elder AuWong is the winner of “Stand Up for Fruits and Vegetables “ in the Mildura
Zone!  With Mildura being in the heart of the Riverlands and the beautiful orchards
And growing fields, this zone is blessed with lots of healthy fruits and vegetables.
After a wonderful Zone Conference together, President Parker began interviews.  I
Got to listen to their beautiful voices as they rehearsed for their musical number
For sacrament Meeting.
Talented missionaries with angelic voices.

Having a slice of watermelon before they make the 2 hour drive back to Mildura!
Elder Pickett and Elder Miller putting away the projectors and electronics that we carry
With us wherever we go in this mission. We are so blessed to be able to communicate
When we have missionaries in outlying areas.  We are so thankful for the talents of these
Great Assistants who can do anything!! All in all a great day learning how to be better
Missionaries for the Lord. After interviews were completed we drove the 3 hours back
To Adelaide going a little slower and keeping an eye out for kangaroos!
