New changes in Darwin

Exciting changes in the NT as a new Palmerston Branch was created .  President

Frank Silcock called as new Branch President with Brother Fata and Brother Bryers

As counselors.  Brother Fong called as Branch Executive Secretary. The work is 

Hastening in Darwin.  These are great leaders and will move the work forward in

Wonderful ways.  Following the Brethren to be missionary focused in all they do and

To hasten the work of salvation. 

And this great family will have blessings coming their way as Jared Archibald was called 

As the new NT District President.  President Archibald is a wonderful leader and

His wife and daughters will be a great support to him and to the District. A comment

In Relief Society this day sums up the feelings of the NT District-there is a great

Buzz  in the air and a new excitement about the Branches and missionary work!  

President Murphy called as 1st counselor in the District Presidency.  President 

Archibald new District President here with President Parker.

Blessing the NT with the Priesthood of God.  Congratulations to all of these wonderful

Men and their families .  Also, as 2nd counselor in the NT District Presidency is

President Michaely who serves from Alice Springs. 

Everyone is smiling today after a wonderful Sabbath Day.  After a shortened Sacrament 

Meeting, a special conference was held in Darwin and Broadcast to Alice Springs, and

Katherine where the changes were made in the District and new Palmerston Branch

Was announced. Leaders who were released, shared testimonies and those called

Also shared their witness of the truthfulness of the Gospel with great enthusiasm

For these changes. We are so thankful for the great service given by President Stephen

Bond  and those who served with him.  We have sweet and tender memories of the

Time serving with these great men. We love all of you and express our gratitude for

The wonderful way you serve in the NT.
